Our Online Program
Our online program is designed for high school students who are in need of recovering course credits. To meet their goals, these students utilize an online learning tool called Edmentum. All Edmentum courses are online classes. These courses are assigned one at a time and each course should be finished within 3 weeks.
Students receive 0.5 credits for every course completed. The self-paced nature of the program does not mean students are alone on the road to meet their goals. Our online program has the support of our teachers, office staff, and an online mentor to ensure that students are supported through their journey toward graduation.
This program is available to students who are under 22 by Sept 1 of the current school year and with prior approval from administration. Edmentum courses can be worked on at home, however, all tests must be taken and supervised at school.
Odyssey is open 8-3p Monday-Thursday for our online students to come in for support, assistance, test-taking, or just a space to work.
If you have any questions about the program or enrollment, please do not hesitate to call Odyssey at (989)773-9473.
Our In-Person Program
Our in-person program is held at Odyssey on 81 acres of forest in Mt. Pleasant.
Students come to school Monday through Thursday each week from 8-3pm and complete a virtual assignment each Friday from home. We have certified teachers who utilize the forest and a love for project-based learning to support our students through their middle and high school years when a traditional school setting isn't what your child needs to be successful.
We require 22 credits to graduate, which includes all required Michigan courses.
This program is available to students not yet past their original graduation year and who are under 20 by Sept 1 of the current school year.
Odyssey is open 8-3p Monday-Thursday for our students.
