On March 1st, there was an Ithaca Public Schools bus accident. This accident was terrifying for everyone on the bus, their families, community, and surrounding communities. It is with great thanks that those who sustained injuries in the accident came away with nonlife-threatening injuries. With the accident will come healing, healing of wounds and trauma. This healing will all require funds to complete. To help out as much as we can, Shepherd Schools has set up this GoFundMe page. Please consider giving to help out our neighbors in need.

By now, you have all likely heard about the bus accident involving Ithaca students that occurred late yesterday. We are deeply thankful no one was seriously hurt. As your school district's superintendent, I am also EXTREMELY thankful to be a part of a school community that loves and cares for your fellow persons like this community does.
Please note this message of gratitude from an Ithaca educator, and also know the Ithaca Superintendent of Schools called today expressing the utmost thanks to all the good people of Shepherd.
Terry Starr
Superintendent
Shepherd Public Schools
PLEASE pass along a HUGE Thank You to ALL of Shepherd Public Schools for all they did to assist our students and staff that were involved in a very scary bus accident yesterday on the highway.
We have ALWAYS had the utmost respect for the Shepherd Community as we have battled each other over the years in all sports. We do not only share the same school colors but we obviously share a great deal of love for our students!!!
Your community stepped up and went over and beyond what most would do. I would like to personally say THANK YOU. Please pass along to ALL that assisted Ithaca.
I am happy to report that all involved have non life threatening injuries. Thank God.
Go Blue Jays & Jackets!

Dear SPS Parents,
It has become increasingly necessary and important for parents to realize the power of the technology that lies in the hands of their children. Communicating needed information about current laws regarding technology is critical to the ongoing success of our students. Many of our children may not even know they are in violation of laws which could seriously jeopardize their futures. Come learn from Michigan State Police First Lieutenant and Shepherd Public Schools parent Josh Lator on Wednesday, March 16th.
