Today's soccer match scheduled at Midland Calvary Baptist is canceled and will not be made up. Monday's soccer match versus Ithaca will now be played this Thursday at 7:00. We will honor the senior soccer players at 6:45 this Thursday prior to the match.

The boys soccer team begins state tournament action on Wednesday, October 9th at 7:00 at Hemlock versus Hemlock. Go Blue!

Mr. Brock, SMS Principal, Mr. Brimmer, SPS Superintendent, and Chief Sawyer all greeted the 6th grade students to orientation this morning. This is a great class of students who are merging at SMS from Winn and SES. There’s no better time than now to be a Blue Jay!!


Congratulations to the boys soccer team for their 8-0. victory over Chippewa Hills tonight. They are back in action Tuesday when they travel to Clare for a 7 o’clock contest. Go Blue!

The last day of school for the 2018-2019 school year will be Friday, June 7th. This is due to the state forgiving days that were declared a state of emergency by the Governor in January.

The Shepherd High School Band performed beautifully today at the MSBOA state band festival @ Bay City Central HS.
Mrs. Gross and the HS Band were IMPRESSIVE!
Once they finished performing, they were fortunate to get very specific & timely feedback from the Michigan State University Band Director David Thornton.

Our Shepherd School Board and Superintendent volunteered this weekend making pancakes at the Maple Syrup Festival. Fun times by all as the weather was perfect!! Go Jays!!
